Uèle Lamore has always explored music’s infinite possibilities. From an adolescence spent studying jazz, rock, and classical music to recent work experimenting the blending of sounds and genres, the 28-year-old Franco-American artist has followed her curiosity, blending a variety of styles and genres to emerge as one of contemporary music’s most acclaimed composers, arrangers, producers, and conductors. Experimentation with modular, electronic, and synthetic elements followed, as did composing and arranging within many genres. Since 2019, she has served as an associate conductor, orchestrator, and arranger for the London Contemporary Orchestra, and has collaborated with a number of highly acclaimed artists. Uele Lamore is also a seasoned film music composer, having composed the soundtrack of feature films such as "Above Water" (directed by Aïssa Maïga), "The Apology" (directed by Alison Locke) or "Riposte Féministe" directed by Simon Depardon and Marie Perennès, as well as short & animated movies. Released in 2022, her debut solo album LOOM, is a sonically ambitious record that melds elements of indie pop and alternative music to what Lamore calls a “model of a symphonic poem”. MULTIPLY, her latest EP release is another sound adventure going even deeper in the search for raw, energetic and hypnotizing tracks that define with even more precision Lamore’s instantly identifiable sound palette.
