The modern era of music has given way to enigmas and artists of all shapes and forms who break the norm of what we have come to expect as far as what an artist truly is. J-Leach is one such artist that epitomizes the essence of the modern era. He is a multi-talented vocalist and rapper born and raised in Wyandanch, NY. Born Justin Leach, he is the encapsulation of perseverance and overcoming adversity. He began to lose his hearing at the age of 6 months. His mother could not help but notice that he gravitated to the vibrations of his father’s DJ speakers. After overcoming his lost of hearing, he wrote his first rap at the age of 8. While incarcerated at the age of 16, he met and collaborated with hip hop artist Max B, which changed his approach to music. While re-incarcerated around 2008, he developed a new style which took his audience by storm and he later founded the record label "Make Knoize Boyz". (MKB) J-Leach is the embodiment of originality and uses his experiences and musical acumen to create an amalgamated and original sound. J-Leach has had a vast array of musical influences. He accredits the pivotal influences and inspiration in his life to Rakim, Biggie, Tupac, The Lox, 50 cent & DMX. This all culminates in J-Leach producing a musical experience that is authentic and grounded in reality. J-Leach is set to release his highly anticipated EP “Kitty Season: No Way Out”, which will showcase his lyricism in a uniquely constructed piece of musical artistry.
