London-raised singer-songwriter SOBI grew up surrounded by music, and having been a fairly shy child, it was music that really brought SOBI out of her shell and allowed her to express herself. She began writing and performing her own songs at the tender age of 16, combining emotive lyrics with edgy electric guitar riffs, and has since gone on to play several tours (most recently supporting KAT FRANKIE on her ‚Shiny Things‘ German Tour), building a name for herself around the UK and Germany. After the success of her last single ‘Honey Honey’ (written for the soundtrack of the #1 Netflix Film ‚Love At First Sight‘) SOBI is back with another upbeat, indie anthem,‘Talitha, Wake Up’. The first single from SOBI’s Debut Album,‘Beloved Child’ (February 2024), is inspired by a Bible story where Jesus heals a girl after everyone has given up on her. Having herself found encouragement in his words ‚Talitha, koum‘, meaning little girl, arise in Hebrew, SOBI hopes her song will comfort and inspire others to keep going, knowing your story is not finished yet.
