Hailing from Bristol, JON. is a formidable wordsmith praised for his distinctive tone and impressive lyrical abilities. Despite being relatively early in his career, JON. has quickly created a buzz around himself with a strong catalogue of shorter projects and singles. After announcing himself to the world with his official debut project Capable: An Introspective in April 2019, JON. has gone from strength to strength with consistent well-crafted releases; the array of cohesive EPs that he dropped over the course of 2019 and 2020 explored a variety of different themes - from introspective looks at his own character, to love and relationships, and also then wider societal issues. JON.’s unique style and lyrical dexterity has caught the eye of some of the biggest and most innovative names in the UK scene; including A2 and his Them Vs Us imprint, and Shaé Universe (who actually featured on JON.’s second EP The Mutual Heartache?). His music has also earned consistent plays and interviews on some of the UK’s biggest tastemaking stations such as Kiss, No Signal, Reprezent, Flex FM and Bristol station SWU. He has also received regular support from a variety of trendsetting platforms across both the mainstream and more alternative spectrum, including GRM Daily, The Pit LDN and Paradoujin.
