THE GENTLEMAN LYRICIST Thabiso Mphokophelo Tenza also known as Lijon (Formally L.E.G.I.O.N, LEGION & Legion Detenator), is a South African Hip Hop artist, graphic designer, photographer, martial artist, visual artist, and entrepreneur from Klerksdorp North West. Lijon was born in Port Shepstone, Kwa Zulu Natal. He started his journey as a rapper at the age of 12 when he was still in primary school and four to five years later at the age of 16, he recorded his first song. (titled Hip Hop Union) During this time he joined a rap crew called SHB (Street Hood Bangers), with some of his friends in high school. The group was involved in many rap battles with other rappers and had a number of songs. Many of them were remixes of popular songs that were released at the time. Eventually, in 2013 the SHB crew joined forces with another crew named Main Event Productions and then became Cruel Muzic, as time went by and the members increased and the crew evolved into the stable called Dreamsmith Entertainment. Lijon refers to his music as 'Supernatural Sound' a genre that includes a variety of music genres namely Trap, Rock, Alternative Hip hop, R'nB, and drill. He is also influenced by a variety of artists both commercial and underground. He is known to be a modern-day Leonardo Di Vinici both in music and graphic design. There are many projects and singles that are coming out so to be a part of the movement.
