Shine-I became an advocate for the development of Virgin Islands’ music. In 2015 he founded a production called “Bridging The Gap” for the exhibition of Virgin Islands’ Artist! The production generated a following and has been used as a platform to raise awareness and funds for cerebral palsy and autism support – honouring his youngest child. In recent years Shine-I continued to release positive music with singles like “Only Jah”, a song created and favoured in Brazil; and “Mommy and Daddy”, which features some of his children. In 2019 he moved from the Virgin Islands to the UK to improve the quality of life for his family. After taking some time to get settled, Shine-I returned to the studio. He released two singles post-migration ("Music Is Life" and "No More") and on 23/07/21 he released his latest project - an EP titled "Difference". 2022 has seen him perform at various events in the UK including the Godiva Festival and Coventry University's Square One. His latest track, Revolutionaries" fuses island vibe with British boom and was released October, 2022. A versatile and experienced performer with noteworthy performances, including Buju Banton’s Long Walk to Freedom Tour in 2019; Shine-I is poised to continue making significant contributions to the reggae, neo-reggae and dancehall musical genres.
