With a passion for music that ignited at the age of twelve, she embarked on a journey of musical exploration, honing her skills as a vocalist and songwriter. Her musical pursuits have led her through various avenues, including bands, musicals, choirs, and a cappella groups. In 2012, she worked with acclaimed Los Angeles producer Thom Russo, recording the tracks "Whoa" and "You Actually Mattered." This experience proved to be invaluable, shaping her artistic approach. Following this milestone, Kaylene dedicated four years to independently producing, recording, and mixing her 2016 pop/rock album "Now or Never." Having studied music theory and vocal pedagogy in school, Kaylene possesses a deep understanding of the technical aspects of music composition and vocal production. This knowledge is infused into her work, allowing her to create captivating melodies and harmonies. Kaylene currently does covers of various progressive metal songs on her YouTube channel, including covers of artists like Periphery and Spiritbox.
