Sugar Rainbow is a Dutch-born, mixed heritage, singer/songwriter based in England. She started being creative at a young age and always had lots of ideas. In her late teens she got the opportunity to sing in a girl group in Belgium and met her first manager who, along with other musicians, arranged their live gigs.. She also toured in Holland, Belgium, and France playing in Restaurants, Piano bars, Cruise ships and various private functions. Sugar Rainbow set up her first recording studio and recorded her 1st 3 albums in Holland. Then got the opportunity to work in South Africa, where the albums were well received. Then she got the opportunity to work with a producer in the USA, where she signed a contract for a year and recorded a great 4th album. (Nu Soul) which was well received. On returning to England, she recorded two more albums. She also formed a 7-piece band called “Soul Dimension” singing funky party songs and entertaining at various functions. More recently, she has been working on new material, reworking a few older songs and issuing previously unreleased music. She has worked with some skilful funky musicians over the years, and is known for her five-octave soprano range, melodies, has performed backing vocals for various artists, recording sessions, and writing jingles for radio stations. Her journey has allowed her to live and work in Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Africa, USA, and England as a singer/songwriter.
