Rick Alexander is a guitarist and composer who lives in Melbourne, Australia. His passion is classical guitar and he writes and performs solo and ensemble music for classical guitar. Rick released his latest single, Beatles cover "Here Comes The Sun" in June 2024. During 2022/2023 he released four duets with Australian guitarist Daniel Nistico, "Time", "Insouciance", "Sheebeg and Sheemore" and "Finding Sheemore". Rick's most recent album is 2013's Fine Light which comprises 15 solos and one duet on classical guitar with all tracks written by Rick. Rick's piece Storming for string quartet and classical guitar won second prize in the 2018 Matt Withers Australian Music Composition Competition and is on the Matt Withers and Acacia Quartet album Imaginations from 2019.
