Formerly known as “Yung Abu Dhvbi”, rapper and vocalist Vivi combines his affinity for hip hop and melodies - seeking to create a unique sound that represents his culturally diverse upbringing. Since early adolescence, Vivi was heavily influenced by artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Kanye West who have played a significant role in shaping his musical foundation. Today, Vivi blends his intricate lyricism with modern day styles similar to Drake, J. Cole, and Tory Lanez. After meeting in university, Vivi started making his first tracks under “Yung Abu Dhvbi” with producer DeadlyCombination in their apartment. The two 3rd culture kids are now passionately starting a collective movement and creating a sound that unifies their upbringing in China, Singapore, and Australia while also tying together their Desi roots. Currently based in Sydney, Australia - the 23 year-old up and coming artist showcases his diverse musical range from hard hitting bars to melodic R&B hooks.
