Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Shy Melomano is a producer, composer and musician influenced by various genres such as hip hop, Bossa Nova, trap, Latin music, etc. Nominated 3 times for Dominican Indie Awards (2022) he has produced and/or participated creatively in projects such as El Mago Tóxico , Leamback , Inka , Manu Rozz , Matsumura , among others. In his new project as a singer, Shy brings us "fresh, beautiful and easygoing" music inspired by genres such as dream pop, indie pop, and R&B. The word "Melómano", coming from the Greek, means "addicted to music". Which is how he considers himself. Shy is also the creator of the successful lofi hip hop project Sad Melómano, with which he has managed to release 100+ original songs, in a single year (2020).
