• 2019, 2016 Red Bull Thre3style DJ World Final Taiwan Championship • Resident DJ in《OMNI》, One of The Best Nightclub in Taiwan 接連就讀華岡藝校國樂科、文化大學國樂系，充滿國樂魂的他，在初次踏入夜店時深深受到不受樂譜束縛的 DJing 吸引，自此 DinPei 從打擊樂器起身走向黑膠唱盤，將國樂的行雲流水化作數位訊號。「極致傳統」的國樂韻味與「極致流行」的電子合成器看似水火不容，卻被他扎實深厚的節奏功力串起，將傳統國樂的音律與電子音樂拼貼得毫不違和，流暢俐落的編曲、頻率與音色的把玩，每一拍都是東西方文化撞擊後的洗鍊火花。 Traditional Chinese music was in his blood and soul. But he got deeply attracted by the unrestrained DJing music style when he first set his feet in a nightclub. Ever since then, DinPei switched his music path from Percussion instruments to the Vinyl Turntable turning traditional Chinese music smooth elegant style into uninhibited digital beats. He started to devote himself to DJing and Electronic music in 2011. Traveled far to San Francisco and took The Electronic Music Producer Program in Pyramind Music Production School in 2016. After 8 years experiencing DJing from major nightclubs in Taipei to various music festivals, DinPei released his first album in 2019. Traditional Chinese music’s old fashion melodies doesn’t seem to fit into the sound of the synthesizer at all, but he strings these two elements together effortlessly by his skillful ability to manipulate beats. With smooth and proficient song arrangements and playing around with tempos and tones, every track became an outstanding combination producing a vibrant outcome in the clash of western and eastern culture.
