PARALYZED is a german rock band from Bamberg formed in spring 2019. The group combines blues hard and stoner rock elements with each other and exhales the vibe of the 70s hard rock era. The members Michael Binder (lead guitar and vocals) Caterina Böhner (rhythm guitar) Philipp Engelbrecht (bass) and Florian Thiele (drums) are inspired by 70´s giants like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Steppenwolf, Canned Heat and many more and recorded their first EP „HIDDEN SUN“ live in the studio in September 2019. The result is a unique mixture of Binder's guitar work with psychedelic wafting wah wah solo's combined with his powerful vocals backed up with Engelbrecht´s solid stamping bass lines just beneath Böhner´s crunchy power chords and single note riffs. Thiele's solid tight and punchy percussion work generates the perfect basement for this unique sound construct. In October 2020 they have entered the studio again for the self-titled album "PARALYZED" relying on the energy of live recording and the spirit of the seventies. During corona pandemic 2021/22 the formation worked on the second full length studio album “HEAVY ROAD“ live at Voelker Studio Bamberg which was released in July 2022 on cd and vinyl via StoneFly Records in Canada. The group is known for a stunning live performance which they proved at several festivals and gigs through the last years. Paralyzed is a vintage steamroller - you can´t escape from hearing and loving!!!
