 VÉDA is a French-Canadian singer, songwriter and producer. Reminiscent of Sade’s sound, her music is a sultry fusion of Urban, R&B and Hip Hop. The Montrealer sings and writes songs in English, French and Spanish since age 13. She developed an early interest in music while competing across Québec throughout high school with her award-winning Hip-Hop dance crew. At the age of 18, she began her pursuit of higher education, which unexpectedly steered her in the direction of spirituality. Early on, she had the epiphanic realization that she could mix her unbounded love for music with her growing leaning for consiousness. Since then, her purpose has been to deliver music that empowers individuals by opening ears and minds.
