First Name Shayne is an independent Hip Hop artist/ producer from Brockton, Ma with a passion for songwriting. He has released several projects, singles, and videos since 2017 while collaborating with various artists and producers. FNS has been giving fans quality music by blending lyricism, story telling, and modern sounds. Having found his love for music in his late teens and early college years at Suffolk University in Boston, MA, the jack of all trades has spent over a decade and well over ten thousand hours mastering his craft in songwriting, production, and engineering. Soon after the college life was over, he moved to San Francisco, Ca to begin recording in a more prestigious music environment and has come a long way from making his music in a dorm room. He then returned to his roots in Massachusetts to begin giving us the quality sound that more and more people are growing fond of. The versatile rapper has released 4 self-produced singles as well as a 4 track collab EP with producer group Alonzo Fibonacci in 2020. Most notably, his single "The Motive" has been featured on the NBA 2K21 Next Gen soundtrack. Showcasing his range from very melodic to "traditional-style" rap records, he has been able to capture his listeners' hearts and imaginations.
