Operatic tenor, John Riesen is perhaps best known as The Voice of Howie Mandel from America's Got Talent season 17 Finalist team Metaphysic. With well over 7 million streams on Spotify, John is deftly taking his years of stage experience to the recording medium. Gifted with a beautiful, powerful, classically trained voice, John Riesen straddles the line between Opera, Musical Theatre and Classical Crossover with ease. (Classical Voice North America) www.johnriesen.com Recently John Riesen was seen in his Lincoln Center debut as the voice of Tony in Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story Suite as well as the tenor soloist in Stravinsky's Les Noces with the New York City Ballet, tenor soloist in Rachmaninoff's Vespers with the NY Oratorio Society, and performed the role of Chris in GRAMMY Award-winning Marcus Hummon's Emmy-Nominated show "Favorite Son" with Nashville Opera alongside Darrell Scott and Emma Grimsley. During the covid-19 Pandemic, John began a new journey into streaming and studio recording. Together with his wife Gillian Riesen and VP Jonathan Estabrooks, he created the Spotify promotion branch of Emitha LLC. John has been privileged to sing for political figures, including President Barack Obama, President Jimmy Carter, and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
