Biography

Prince Jamo, who was born and raised in Birmingham (UK), is a singer, songwriter and self-taught musician, as well as a Label owner. Back in 1989, he was one of the key members of “Ruff Neck Trilogy” UK Reggae Band formed alongside Bonzo B and King Stanley and which would later be joined by other talented musicians such as Ceefax or Digga Ranx (1992). They performed with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Mighty Diamonds or Israel Vibration and, finally, in 1996 they signed with London Records and Sony Publishing solidifying their musical experience. He is also the founder of Blackrose Label active since 2003 in Birmingham (UK) under which he has released great hits such as 'The Night of Our Lives' or 'Haul & Pull Up’ (2019) as well as collaborations with other artists, labels and great international producers such as 2Kings Records, Murray Man, Roberto Sánchez, Salomon Heritage, with which hits such as 'Sheep to the Shepherd' were pressed. Throughout his career, he has performed at numerous world-renowned festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash (SP), Garance Music Festival (FR), One Love Festival (PO), Glastonbury Festival (UK) or Woodstock Festival (PO) amongst many others. A successful international music career that this year marks Prince Jamo's second return to the United States with one initial show scheduled in San Diego, California for the month of March and different dates are yet to be announced accross Europe.
