Blitz Vega is a project launched by the late Andy Rourke (bassist from The Smiths) & KAV. In November 2016 the duo embarked on a journey of 7 years recording music together.  BLITZ VEGA released their debut album Northern Gentleman on September 27th 2024. The album is a bittersweet celebration of Andy’s impact on the music world, especially this band. Kav is committed to celebrating the album, keeping the promise he made to Andy to release & tour the album, no matter the circumstances. He is set on ensuring people can listen to the album Andy was making right until he passed.
