Russell Vandiver is a 32 year-old singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. Raised in Lavonia, Georgia (a small town nestled in the Northeast Georgia foothills on Lake Hartwell) ON artists like George Jones, Al Green, The Isley AND Allman Brothers, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Russell’s sound has been described as, “Southern Soul”, encompassing multiple genres of music. Playing and performing his whole life, he first got out on "the scene" while attending The University of Georgia in musically historic Athens, GA. A front man and lead guitar player for bands like Big Milk and Odd Street, Russell has performed all over Athens, including multiple gigs at legendary venues The Georgia Theatre and the 40 Watt Club.
