Zephy Di Unexpected (born Thaj Freeman, February, 1st, 1990) is a versatile dancehall sensation hailing from the parish of St. Catherine, Jamaica, W.I. Pre-inclined to the sound of music at a very tender age, singer Zephy attended Point Hill Leased Primary school and Bridgeport High school in Portmore, St. Catherine for his high school level. Determined to achieve a higher level in his education, Zephy moved on to the Portmore Community College to further his studies between the years 2008 to 2010. Since his inception, artist Zephy (Thaj Freeman) was introduced to music, singing, and performing. Growing up, the prodigy was a member of the children's choir at his home church that he used to attend. During his high school years, Freeman recorded his first-ever demo track at the age of sixteen. However, it wasn’t until the year 2010 when his music career reached a professional level and he achieved his first radio airplay. This was the beginning of his promising music story that is till today. Being an independent dancehall artist in the booming Jamaican dancehall scene, Zephy made his official debut with his single "Jah Know" back in 2012. With this single, he entered a talent show back in 2013 dubbed "On the Verge," on which he attained great exposure for his talent. In the year 2014, the singer collaborated and worked with Andy's production, where he released songs like; "Nah Give Up," "Nah Smile Wid Dem," and "Nuh Lock it Off"
