Biography

Michele Garruti is a London based composer and pianist as well as a producer. Originally from Italy, he has spent most of his life making music and finding inspiration working within and blurring lines between multiple music genres. Those familiar with Michele Garruti know of his skills for composing, which floats through a range a classical environment, minimalism, crossover and electronic mixed together to create an original vibe. Prior to his work as a full-time composer, Garruti played piano and keyboards in multiple pop-jazz-funky groups. To release his own works and soundtracks, he founded London based ‘Oracle Records’ in 2015. He produced a tribute album to Burt Bacharach entitled “We All Love Burt Bacharach”, played by musicians like Peter Erskine (Weather Report) Bob Mintzer (Yellow Jackets), Darek Oles, Kathleen Grace, Michael Stever and Aaron Serfaty. Michele Garruti played keyboards in the song "A House is not a Home". Among his collaboration: Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, Darek Oles, Massimo Colombo, Michael Stever, Matt Nicholls, Sheaam Dean, Double Zero, Costantino Catena, NonSoloGospel, etc...
