Kardi Tivali records powerful inspiring reggae music that lingers in the consciousness of listeners stoking mellow vibes and incorporating the nostalgia of Jamaican old school reggae. He achieved international recognition with the production of Sophia Squire's Nature’s Calling, which was later remixed to feature Tarrus Riley. Born Emeil Williams on October 30, 1986, in Kingston, Jamaica. In Maxfield Avenue, he grew up with an older brother and his parents. While attending Kingston College high school he made the Track and Field team; however, due to gang violence in his hometown, Emeil was unable to continue to pursue Sports because of the late hours he would be going home after training. He started creating music at the age of 15 and then his peers began calling him Cardiac RS. He later changed his name to Kardi Tivali, in represents the injustice youths endure in his homeland. He graduated high school in 2004 and began working with his brother at Enrapture Productions studio, as a Recording Engineer/ Music Producer. A pivotal moment in Kardi Tivali's career came when he received creative inspiration to write and record Dark and Stubborn which garnered great reviews by critics and was lauded as a lyrical masterpiece. It also received heavy rotations locally and abroad. Kardi Tivali's music transcended to the film industry when Dark and Stubborn was featured in the movie, Jamaican Mafia as a soundtrack for the film.
