For Culps, it’s “deeper than just throwing any words on a track” it has to mean something and this purpose in Culps’ approach to music fundamentally drives his ambitions to take his music worldwide. Inspired by the work rate and consistency of fellow UK artists, Culps holds himself to a high standard and after taking some time out to hone his craft and consistently supported by DJ Semtex. When listening back to his own tracks, he mentions the emotive nature and honesty he is able to convey, which also works as a constant reminder to himself as to how far he’s come but also how far he intends to go.
