Biography

Andy Ezrin, a pianist and composer from Boston, began playing piano at ten and performing professionally at twelve. He studied at The Boston University School of Fine Arts, The Tanglewood Institute Oberlin College Conservatory, and the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. Touring globally with Grammy-winning vocal jazz group New York Voices, he's graced major jazz festivals and prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Hollywood Bowl, also performing internationally at the United Nations. As a composer, he has released twelve trio recordings, including "Tactile," "Zoom: Love Junket," and "Silent Movies," showcasing his talents in jazz piano and original compositions. His work has been featured on TV shows like 'Sesame Street' and 'Courage the Cowardly Dog,' as well as the film 'Clifford the Big Red Dog's Really Big Movie.' Andy has contributed to children's educational programming like PBS's 'Space Racers' and co-composed for Cartoon Network's 'Courage the Cowardly Dog.' He's also been involved as keyboardist/Associate Musical Director for the Broadway musical "Hot Feet" and as a musical director for singer Linda Eder. Andy has toured with Christopher Cross and worked with artists like Chita Rivera, Ute Lemper, and jazz trumpeter Chris Botti. He's also performed with a diverse range of musicians, from U2’s Bono and Edge to Lady Gaga and Dr. John. Andy's captivating performances and collaborations continue to resonate with audiences worldwide.
