Blue J (Born Travis Warmkessel) is an alternative style rap/hip-hop artist born and raised in Slatington, PA. While he was not a natural at it when first starting out almost 15 years ago, he never gave up. Since then he spent those first several years better developing his craft and finding his voice with in alternative style rap and club beats. Coming a very long way from where he started, Blue J puts out a well developed unique sound apart from standard hip-hop, with tracks you can club to, play for that special someone, or getting through lifes obstacles as well as his own personal life hardship experiences. With inspiration from mainstream artists like Drake, Kid Ink, Hoodie Allen, and Connor Price, Blue J brings a whole new alternative sound of his own to the Hip Hop genre.
