Cat Thompson is an Australian born, songwriter, recording artist and producer. As a child, she enjoyed singing, playing piano and writing poetry. By combining these passions, she discovered her love for songwriting. She has performed in Australia, the Solomon Islands and opened for American artists Eve, Lloyd and The Jabbawockeez as well as Filipino artists Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza. She was a songwriter on Filipino artist Lani Misalucha’s album, Force Called Woman, released by Universal Production Music. As a songwriter and producer, Cat Thompson built her recording studio on a farm in the beautiful beach side town of Byron Bay and works with artists from different parts of the world. She is managed by American artist management company, Progressive Artist Management. Her music has received radio play in over thirty countries. Her song, Who You Gonna Call, made America’s NashVegas Radio Top 30 and AMR Australia's Top 50 for 2021. In 2022, the music video and her interview with American TV show, SideWalks Entertainment, aired on TV channels across the United States. Malanga, her collaboration song with African-Australian artist Future Destin, aired on TV channels and radio in Africa. She collaborated Latin artists Mauro Ferdinand, Lakesick and Moraii. Their song, If I Go, released by Peru based record label, Submance Records, features their collaborative musical skills and Cat Thompson's powerhouse vocals.
