Josh Whitehouse moved to London at 18 looking to begin a music career with his band More Like Trees, within a year the band had been signed with BBE Records and released "Roots, Shoots and Leaves" playing many renowned festivals world wide. Soon after this Josh met Elaine Constantine who trained him to be a background dancer for her film Northern Soul, after two years of being involved he was offered one of the lead roles in the film and from this he got signed up with acting agents around in London and LA. Josh has since been working to sustain both careers, he played Hugh Armitage in Poldark, went on to be "Mr Burberry" and released a solo EP "Level Up". The band became a part of Joe Driscoll's "Local Posse" a group made up of an ever changing line up (Lazy Habits, Reeps One, Dizraeli, Fjokra, The Beatbox Collective & John Fairhurst to name a few) which led to the creation of "The High Cross Society" a collaborative project co-written and created by Josh and rapper Lazy Habits. Josh is a prolific song writer who now records from home and on the road. In 2019 he starred in the Netflix Christmas movie "The Knight Before Christmas" alongside Vanessa Hudgens and wrote and pitched the song "Before Christmas" for the films soundtrack. Shortly after he starred as Randy in Valley Girl the MGM musical and can be heard in numerous songs on the soundtrack. In January of 2020 More Like Trees released a new album "Don't Disturb The Garden" and he now has a new album coming very soon.
