Biography

Mario Iannuzziello is an Italian musician, upright-bass player, bassist, arranger and composer. He attends the music school “Il Pentagramma”, in Bari, focusing in the jazz traditional repertoire. Afterwards he moves to Rome where he performs as a co-leader and sideman in jazz clubs and jazz festivals. He releases the album Post It featuring Max Ionata on tenor saxophone. He grows as performer and as arranger and composer as well. He gets in contact with the main artists of the European and America jazz scene and attends lessons and workshops with teachers as Barry Harris, Carl Allen, Rodney Jones, James Burton III. His mentors and teachers are Furio Di Castri , Ben Street, Matt Penman, and Francesco Angiuli. He graduates at E.R. Duni Conservatoire in Matera with the highest score. He spends 1 year as exchange student at HKU Conservatorium in Utrecht. He gets the Master Program degree in double-bass at Siena Jazz, after attending courses and lessons with Demian Cabaud, Joe Sanders, Logan Richardson, Seamus Blake, Ralph Alessi and David Linx. www.marioiannuzziello.com
