Hungarian quartet, Nunki Bay Starship’s crew consists of great musicians individually familiar from many popular bands. They gathered to unite their musical talent and inspiration and create a unique universe. They define their style as ‘audiovisual wormhole’ - their music is operating with the elements of pop, neosoul, jazz and they crack it up with some psychedelic and r&b flavors. Their critically acclaimed first album was released in 2019 and they had the chance to play major clubs in Budapest, tour the country and perform at festivals and also support Anomalie Live Band and if 2020 didn’t happen, they would have supported their idol, Tank and the Bangas. After last year’s change in their line-up they’re more than ready to conquer the rest of the world as well as outer space with their new album called From a Proper Distance which points in a new, clearer musical direction and processes problems, ideologies which were swept under the carpet for a long time.
