Kontrah or Kontrahdiction, is an American born rap musician and spoken word poet from Baltimore, Maryland. Kontrah moved from Baltimore at a young age, and honed his musical skills in Austin, Texas before moving back to Baltimore to attend Morgan State University. Kontrah paints the perspective of a city slicker, with humble country beginnings. His character and unique perspective to his enviorment shine throughout every verse. 2013 marked the release of Kontrah’s debut project, “Higher Learning: My Lower Self”. Kontrah announced that August of 2018 will usher in his Fourth studio album entitled “Jaded Justice”. The first single from the new album is an R&B collaboration with Baltimore songstress, Cita.
