Autumn's Drowning

Exploring Andromeda

Biography

Connor Elgie is a Canadian guitarist. He has been involved in the performing arts since a young age, starting to learn piano at the age of 4. Throughout his childhood he was playing bass guitar in rock and metal bands, and eventually picked up guitar in elementary school. Much of his guitar playing is reminiscent of bass guitar techniques, and has evolved quite uniquely because of this. He is very inspired by artists such as Stu Hamm, Polyphia, and Pink Floyd. “Exploring Andromeda” was Connor’s first released material, and is a time capsule of his experience learning to record his music and produce himself. It is a progressive rock concept EP about space exploration. “Autumn’s Drowning”, his second release, was recorded between his Ontario home and the studios at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. This was his first time singing for a song, and recording his voice. He is currently writing a new EP to show the evolution of his playing, and utilize what he’s learned at College to put the best foot forward to show the world.
