Birthed an 80's baby, Prophetess Mannsur - Arrington's oldest child, ISH. As he watched his father play lead guitar and lead praise worship at church. He began his musical journey in junior high school with the school strings ensemble. From that time and throughout high school, he has learned to play various instruments. In his junior year of high school, he was appointed Drum Major, a position he maintained for the remainder of his high school career. Ishmael was awarded a scholarship to march in NSU's Spartan Legion Marching Band. After his freshman year at NSU, he joined the USMC working as an aviation supply clerk. He received an Honorable Medical Discharge. Next, he attended FSU, where he served as section leader and then Drum Major of the Marching Bronco Xpress. He graduated with a B.A. degree in Sociology, with a minor in music. Although music is Ishmael's first love, he also has a passion for service and uplifting the youth, whereas, the motivation for pledging Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. & is now a 21 yr. old member. In 2017, BIG ISH obtained a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Purdue University. 2012, ISH pursued his dream of being an indie artist recording music. As of 2024, he has completed several albums, a full production catalog, and has moved his focus to sound engineering, consulting, and digital creation. & Leaving a legacy for his kids future is the dream.
