Biography NYGMALION [nigmʌlion] is a fresh melodious death metal endeavour originating from Hungary. In 2019, modern metal pioneer Dávid Egri-Kiss and drummer Gergő Gazdag envisioned a fresh take on melodic death metal genre by incorporating groovy, melodic, progressive, acoustic and ambient elements as an experiment. Emerging from David's modern technical approach, intertwined with Gergő's classic melodic approach as a result they unleashed their debut album with guitarist Péter Kiss and vocalist/bassist Krisztián Gaál in mid 2020, entitled 'Deluminate'. In the fall of 2022 their first video single HELLDIVE featuring SKEETER (BRA) is released from their upcoming album of 2023. The single has been adopted into a music video as well. The song represents their next chapter, now experimenting with clean vocals while keeping the catchiness and technical trademarks of Nygmalion. Stories about self, health, youth, paralyzing hatred, time, about how they see the world and themselves within it, internal and external transitions, etc. At present NYGMALION is actively working on their follow-up album, coming in 2023.
