Lee Biran is an Israeli musician and actor born in Kfar-Saba, Israel. His interest in music began early on in high school, where he specialized in musical performance. At the age of sixteen, he had already released his first single "Smile”. The following year, he completed his first EP “Playing the Game”. In 2008 Lee was a contestant on the sixth season of “Israeli Idol” where he finished as runner-up. Several songs he has written have reached the number one spot on the Israeli charts. Lee has written songs for TV shows as well as other musicians in Israel. Due to his likable persona on “Israeli Idol” Lee also began getting job offers for TV. For four years Lee was a host on the Israeli Nickelodeon channel, and in 2012 Lee was cast in the lead role of “Iftach” on the major hit youth drama “The Greenhouse”. The show’s theme song was also written, performed and produced by Lee in both the Hebrew and English versions. “The Greenhouse” was later picked up by Nickelodeon UK. Currently, Lee is frontman and producer for Israeli supergroup Taking the Time, performing both classics and popular songs in Hebrew and English, bridging the musical and generational gap between parents and their kids. This is one of the most successful musical projects in Israel over the past decade. He is also working on his upcoming solo album in English. Powered by Bird Music - office@birdmu.com
