Toronto based MC Lil 6 comes alive musically through his witty punchlines, eerie trap beats and storytelling lyrics that glorify the proceeds of the underground Toronto street life while cautioning his listeners about the cons of it. Reigning from the south side of Jane and Finch which is one of the most vicious communities in Canada, 6 often narrates the difficulties he faces attempting to leave the street life behind and transition to a full time career in music. After an OVO Sound radio co-sign in 2017 Lil 6 began receiving overseas traction for the song "10 Million" which aired live on EP. 49, kick starting his early career. 
 Lil 6 is an active member of the street group known as TOT (Tired Of Talking) which roots from the south side of Jane and Finch, consisting of fellow members such as BMO , Gordo Brazy , J.ez and a few others. TOT picked up steam when they released a squadded-up yet entertaining visual to "Honest" by Lil 6, BMO and Gordo Brazy. In 2016-2018 the group faced countless run-in's with the law, woefully affecting the overall production of music. In spite of these struggles Lil 6 released his debut project "Phone Lines and Focus" in late 2019, this body of work featured other highly touted Toronto artists such as Blockboi Twitch, Puffy L'z and fellow TOT member Gordo Brazy. Inspired by the music of his Nigerian roots along with the tempo and bounce of pop music Lil 6 finds inventive ways to merge his style with various worldwide genres.
