Lorin Jones-Stubbs (1987-) is a versatile and innovative artist known for his unique blend of avant-garde, modernist, and neo-romantic styles. Starting his musical journey at a young age, Lorin began with piano lessons at six. As a teenager, he delved deeply into guitar and bass, discovering a talent for composition that has driven his career. His musical influences are as diverse as his output, drawing inspiration from classical giants like Stravinsky, Chopin, and Beethoven, as well as contemporary figures such as Nirvana and Cardiacs. Lorin's work spans a wide array of genres, including contemporary compositions and rock. With a prolific output of over 300 songs, Lorin has created a rich portfolio that includes orchestral pieces, piano solos, and full rock band compositions. His notable releases include the "Music For Ears" compilation series, which showcases his contemporary piano and orchestral works, as well as rock EPs like *Apparition* and *Lord Of The Peat Bog*, and the album *The Dance Of Death*, highlighting his death rock and doom influences. Lorin has performed extensively across the north-west of England. In addition to his solo work, Lorin has collaborated with bands such as ABC For Giants, Panda!, and Red Dog, further expanding his musical footprint.
