I am Shavo Blak, a recording artist located in Malmö, Sweden. My style of music is fluid; I love experimenting with sound, it’s hard to put my music in a bracket and slap a name it. I like to think of my voice as the sound and the music as the conduit to the message I am putting across. 
 I was born and raised in Kenya before moving to Sweden as a teenager. 
 I grew up listening to rap, Rnb, Genge and Reggae. These genres have an unprecedented influence on the music I now make. Artists like Nameless, Bamboo, E - Sir, Big Pin, Ja Rule, Fabolous, Jada kiss, Nas ,50 Cent, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, 2 face Idibia, P square, Bob Marley And the Wailers etc were the order of the day in my young years. 
 I have been actively making music now since 2018, both as a solo artist and also as a part of a collective known as the Missing Millennials as a writer / artist. ‘ I don’t know’, a track that I sung on and wrote majority of the lyrics to, has gone on to amass not less than a million streams on Spotify alone. I left the group in 2020 to pursue my own interests.
