T-Stryngz was born in Oklahoma but grew up in Grand Rapids, MI. His interest in music began at a young age. He was almost always drumming and loved working in the studio at the local Boys and Girls Club in elementary school. He began playing drums in church and creating beats for others in middle school. During high school T-Stryngz got mixed up with the wrong crew and ended up serving 2.5 years in prison. He took advantage of this time and learned how to play the guitar and improved his piano skills. Music became his escape and motivated him to stay out of trouble. He continues to create beats both for himself and others. Music gives T-Stryngz a way to express his feelings and tell his story, and he hopes to be able to use his gifts to motivate others.
