Eliën is an alternative artist based in the Netherlands. Growing up as a multilingual third-culture kid, the singer always got in touch with different cultures and countries throughout her childhood. No wonder that in 2019 she first came into view while writing her debut album on a road-trip through Europe. Her dreamy synths and her dramatic and soulful vocals take people on a journey through the depths of her mind. Her songs are inspired by various influences; somewhere between indie-pop, classical music and alternative folk she finds her place in the spectrum of music. Together with a diverse team of creatives she is sourcing inspiration from contemporaries such as London Grammar and Florence Welch whilst following her own multidisciplinary path; poetic, pure and with a strong social motivation. In 2023 Eliën started the research and creation of her next album 'Roam'. With this special collection of songs, the artist pays tribute to the worth of connection and friendship in a post-pandemic Europe. In her little VW spaceship she toured the festivals of Europe, inviting you to join her intimate 'van-sessions' inside of her campervan. By creating 'Roam' the artist brings an ode to our European society in which people throughout the continent battle the increasing loneliness.
