R&B/Hip-Hop Jazzy singer born Durreyl, started performing at the age of 6 when she began professional dance lesson’s in ballet, jazz and hiphop to name a few. With her star quality and young fresh talent then 10 year old Durreyl landed roles in the Lion King Mirvish Production musical as young Nala and theme song vocalist for the Treehouse network cartoon Harry & His Bucket Full of Dinosaur’s. Durreyl also had the opportunity to work on set as a dancer with Rihanna & Drake for their music video ‘Work’. Now a vibrant developed artist, Durreyl has a sound of her own and she has coined herself “Glxy Grl”. She is ready to share her voice with the world. An infused hiphop —neo-soul style captivates both male and female listeners. During the past two years Durreyl has been adding to her repertoire with performances at events like Brampton’s Very Own (BVO), The Discovery Series: Manifesto, Diversity at Revival Bar, BVO Garden Square, Ontario Place 2018 and Duality Entertainment - Mod Nightclub. In 2019 Durreyl performed at A.I.R. Toronto Podcast: Lynx Music live recording studio in July, The Drake Hotel in November and she was the recipient of A.I.R Toronto’s Interview Award presented by Stay True Foundation Inc. Durreyl is an unsigned independent artist who will be working on creative projects and new music to be released for summer 2020! Look out for Durreyl’s music on all streaming platforms.
