Jjones1k grew up listening to and was inspired by artists like Micheal Jackson, Drake, J. Cole, and Big Sean and is currently influenced by Bryson Tiller, Tory Lanez, and XXXTentacion. In 2019, Jjones1k realized his potential and started releasing music on SoundCloud. He started with his debut single “Never Break” which received over 35k plays. His artistry consists of a unique flow, while utilizing his singing to display his ingenious and personal lyrics.
