His other projects are Nebular Spool with post-apocalyptic ruin-gaze and Shadow Of The Beat, dark and fierce biotech electronica. He started out as a demoscene musician in the 1990ies, releasing music disks as the artist This is Gnosis. Martens Meyer works as a media artist and composer for film, videogames, TV and theatre. His main activity is Ugress, regularly releasing albums and touring Europe with their award-winning visual live shows. He's also actively touring and performing in cinemas with a repetoire of new music to silent films, from the fantastic adventures of early Soviet sci-fi in Aelita - Queen of Mars to the queer witchcraft of the worlds first docu-horror Häxan. Major works include music for SONY’s Little Big Planet videogame series, the award-winning Pushwagner documentary, and the award-winning performance The Wrong Future, based on recent music of Ugress.
