Danny Jonokuchi & The Revisionists are a New York City based swing band led by trumpeter and composer Danny Jonokuchi. Fueled by a love of dancing, their music has been described as “smile-inducing” (DownBeat) as well as “crisp, clean, and refreshingly joyful” (Syncopated Times). Their second album, “Together Again”, was released following their headlining performance at Lincoln Center’s Summer For The City Festival. In 2020, they were unanimously named the WINNERS of the inaugural Count Basie Great American Swing Contest for their virtual performance of “One O’Clock Jump”. They have filled dance floors at Gotham Hall, The International Lindy Hop Championships (ILHC), The Guggenheim, The Django, The Tiffany and Co. Flagship Store, The Ziegfeld Ballroom, City Winery, and many more. Their debut album "Let Me Off Uptown" (2019) features swing classics and original songs that have inspired dancers to swing out around the world.
