A "Jack of all trades" Anupama Madhubhashinie, Anu, is a Vocalist and Lyricist, a dancer/dance instructor and choreographer, a commercial/academic/script and content writer, a compere, voice-over artist, and recently launched into Direction. Anu's very first break in the Sinhala Music Scene is Sansaraye Ma, with popular vocalist Ridma Weerawardena released in 2015. Anu vocalized two English praise and worship originals :"You are here" and "Beautiful Woman" which are available on Apple Music and Amazon. She took on Miduna as her first original Sinhala Solo Single, as she felt strongly towards the optimistic and unconventional theme of the song. The song is melodized and produced by Thilina Boralessa. Anu's "...in to the Rhythm", written and performed by herself, is available on all streaming platforms, and the official music video was directed by Anu herself. Anu also performed vocally with renowned Sri Lankan Tamil rapper Krishan Maheson at the Shakthi FM 18th anniversary celebrations in 2017. Anu performed Sansaraye Ma and Sandawathiye with Ridma Weerawardena, at Kuweni Live in Concert, credited as the best cinematic concert experience in Sri Lanka to date. Anu is a lyricist in English, Hindi, and Sinhala Languages.
