In 2016, Winter Rae dropped out of college to chase her dreams in the music Mecca that is Atlanta, GA! Originally from North Alabama, Winter Rae has always felt like it was her calling to write, record and perform music. She picked up a pen for the first time at the early age of seven and says she never looked back. Her love for music grew much deeper when she started recording herself at fifteen and went on to release her first song at sixteen. Winter Rae’s professional music career began Jan 2017 when she dropped out of college, moved out of her hometown and began learning about the music industry first hand. With her Amy Winehouse-like swag in her music, this young woman caught the attention of many major record labels quickly. Some of her other musical influences include pop stars like, Christina Aguilera, P!nk and Nicki Minaj Winter’s discography is full of many heartfelt, handwritten songs. Her projects include her first EP Born a Legend, her debut album Black Sheep, the follow up POWER and her last EP, POPSTAR. All of these bodies of work showcase the singer’s vocal range, versatility, and songwriting capability. With her number one single Incomplete Love and her rnb ballad Confidential it’s only right that she calls herself “Winter, the Popstar”.
