In 2017, Pastor Lincoln Williams joined the New Life Church team as the worship Pastor of NL Worship. After growing the team and establishing their sound, NL Worship began writing music, and eventually releasing music. In 2018, NL Worship released its first single, For He Is Lord. Shortly after the release of their first song, they released their first studio album, New Thing. 
 
 In 2019, Pastor Lincoln and NL Worship had a vision of creating tailor made music for people of the church. Through this process, they were able to be mentored by professional music producers and more established worship artists. During this time, they worked with a variety of artists and producers. A season of prayer and seeking wisdom birthed the new mindset of “Significant Encounters”. In 2020, NL Worship wanted to increase their encounters with God personally and church wide, and out of this came their second studio album Encounter. NL Worship continues to push the boundaries of CCM music and Gospel to connect the world through the universal language of music.
