AMReed8 was born Autumn Maria Reed on October 8, 1992, in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. She is the daughter of Duane S. Reed, a realtor from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and O. Maria `Renee` Reed, a property manager from Chicago, Illinois. An Alumna of Berklee College of Music, she cites influences from several genres of indie pop, jazz, and the Great American Songbook. She likes to orchestrate music using walls of sound — different timbres, each with their unique quirks harmonizing in unity.
