If you're unfamiliar with Larry Peace then there’s no better time to do so than the present. Peace is a Midwest born, multi-talented DJ and producer who delivers funky house music. Well, funky music period. Growing up on deep and jackin' Chicago house music mixed with the funk of the Minneapolis Sound (Prince, FlyteTyme) it was inevitable that he'd be anything other than a product of his influences combined. Musically, Peace loves to keep one foot in the present and the other planted firmly in the past which is shown in his resume and music catalog. At age 19, he landed a gig as personal DJ for his musical idol, Prince. He has contributed remixes for Grammy Award winning artists like Lee Dagger (Bimbo Jones) and legends Thelma Houston and KC and the Sunshine Band. In addition to Dark Intensity, Luca Debonaire, Jade Starling (Pretty Poison), Marcella Detroit (Shakespear's Sister), Debby Holiday, Jenna Ushkowitz (Glee) and plenty more. Again, a great mixture of old-school and new. His workload doesn't end there as Peace heads up his own imprint, Supa Qween Records, which features and eclectic roster of talent including a remix single from the Daughters of Legacy (comprised of the daughters of Soul legends Millie Jackson, Isaac Hayes, Betty Wright, Ruth Pointer and Ann Nesby).
