Michael Benedikt (Florian Egli) is a Zurich based multi-awarded saxophonist, bassist and producer. Michael is active as a freelance musician in various bands and projects in the jazz and pop field. Mainly living as a performing and touring musician from 2010 until 2020 (Philipp Fankhauser, Lucerne Jazz Orchestra, Swiss Jazz Orchestra, Raphael Jost and lot's of Horns, to name a few). Florian Egli started to release own music under the name of Michael Benedikt to promote himself as a writer / producer. As such, he worked with Swiss singer Ursina with whom he got featured on the hyped series "Warrior Nun" with the first song ever placed on a Netflix series that is sung in the minority language of Swiss Romansh (never heard of this language? - that's why it is so cool).
