Mark is a graduate of The Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he studied studio music performance, arranging and composition. Mark toured the major European Jazz Festivals with Itchy Fingers Saxophone Quartet supporting amongst others Chick Corea, Bob Berg, David Sanborn and Cecil Taylor. Mark wrote and recorded with the contemporary woodwind group Quadraphonic whilst playing for various TV and film sessions. Mark toured with Dame Shirley Bassey, Helen Shapiro and Selena Jones whilst recording and releasing various solo projects under his own name. In 2008 Mark scored the short film ‘Chasing Chekhov’ which won an LA BAFTA and also a score for the play ‘Singular Women’ which played London’s West End and Edinburgh Festival. Mark has recently scored various adverts for UK television including Harpic Power Plus, Dove, McDonalds and Barclays Bank.
